A Message From Hanna Yocute
UCLA UniCamp is partnering with Project GRAD in empowering high school junior and senior students by creating a safe space and using principles of social/emotional learning, self-awareness, and communication to hopefully provide tools necessary to navigate successfully through college and beyond. I was a PGLA scholar and owe a big part of who I am as a college student to this non-profit organization. PGLA helped to spark a greater desire in me to pursue higher education by imparting some foundational principles of life and leadership skills. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to mentor a younger generation of PGLA students as a UCLA UniCamp counselor. However, in order to have a positive influence on these young students' lives I need your help. The cost to take one student to camp is about $500. Each camp counselor is responsible for raising $500, the amount for a single student. Please consider assisting me in investing in a young person's life today. Someone invested in mine and I am forever thankful!

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
