Hi everyone! I am excited to announce that this year I have joined Unicamp, a nonprofit organization and the official charity of UCLA that connects student volunteers (like me!) from UCLA with kids from underserved areas in LA. Our goal is to give the kids a fun and transformative week of camp over the summer. I am very fortunate in that I was actually able to go to summer camp growing up, and it was one of the most magical experiences I had as a kid. Because of this, I sincerely believe that camp is something that every kid should be able to experience. To send one kid up to camp, it costs $650. While some of this is covered, most of it needs to be raised by us volunteers. This means I have to raise $500 by the summer, and need your help to do it. Most of us are broke, but even a donation as small as $2-3 would really mean a lot to me. My love comes pretty cheap, and donations are tax deductible!
