A Message From Merlene Alonso
Hi family and friends, this summer along with other student volunteers I will be taking part in a long standing UCLA tradition. UniCamp is UCLA's official philanthropy and this summer I am excited to participate as a camp counselor helping underrepresented LA youth. The week long camp I will be a part of will focus on social justice education for Horace Mann Middle School students and I would gladly appreciate any donations. As a counselor I am fundraising to send one student to camp where they can experience a week of fun-filled memories and growth.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
