The Fundraising Page of Ali "Russell" Al-Saleem

Hi everyone!! I am glad that you made it to my UniCamp Fundraising page (: My name is Ali Al-Saleem, but my UniCamp woodsies call me Russell (from Up). UCLA UniCamp, which was founded in 1934, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that sends 1200+ underserved and marginalized youth from Los Angeles to Summer Camp at an extremely reduced cost in order to help them envision brighter futures, develop a love for serving the community, and learn more about themselves in nature. As a camp counselor this past summer, I have seen first hand what a week of camp can do for kids, and the growth that takes place up the mountain. This year, I am returning as a Head Counselor, a part of a Leadership Team that will be spearheading the planning and execution of one week of camp. I am super excited to be training volunteers and putting on an unforgettable week of camp for kids to be kids :) Since UniCamp serves underserved communities in LA, we cannot go to camp without the help of your donations, which is why I am asking you to make a donation of any amount that you are comfortable with.
