- Session 1 – Camp CEE
A Message From Session 1 – Camp CEE
Session One, Camp Community Engagement and Empowerment (CEE), focuses on how intersectional identities create everyday leaders in our communities up and down the mountain. Through programs that dive into concepts of identity, community building, diversity, and storytelling, we hope campers and volunteers take away that their backgrounds and experiences are their superpowers that they can use to make powerful change. Identity expression can take many forms and during our week of camp, we hope to empower campers to express themselves authentically. We hope everyone takes away an understanding of what, where, and who makes them the dynamic individual they are.
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
