A Message From Anna "Starlight" Van

Hello friends, If you know me, you probably have heard about my involvement with UCLA UniCamp (live laugh UniCamp). UniCamp is the official charity of the students of UCLA and a non-profit organization that hosts summer camp for the underserved youth of the Los Angeles area. This year, I am returning to camp as one of the program directors for UniCorps. UniCorps is a specialized program for high-school-aged campers to learn and develop leadership skills through service learning projects. Our goal for UniCorps this year is to teach our campers about initiative & proactivity, integrity, and building a brave space where they can comfortably explore their leadership style. I will be fundraising $1000 to help subsidize the cost of camp for campers and the operation of UniCamp. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support! Much Woodsey Love, Starlight

UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
