- Session Boys and Girls Club - Pasadena & Burbank
A Message From Session Boys and Girls Club - Pasadena & Burbank
In collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena and Burbank, UCLA UniCamp will organize a social justice camp with a focus on College Readiness and Leadership Development in an outdoor educational setting for the youth of Los Angeles. This session of camp is aimed at developing leaders among campers as they prepare for their journey to college. Volunteers will engage campers and provide them with the motivation, experience, and safe environment necessary for them to grow into tomorrow’s leaders. Campers also have the opportunity to have fun and be themselves through traditional camp activities such as archery, swimming, climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and much more.
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
