A Message From Angelica Guerra
I was blessed with the opportunity to be able to give a life changing experience to kids last year when I did UniCamp for the very first time. Although I struggled up at camp, I pushed through and had the time of my life. My life hasnt been the same since I did camp. I come back again to do UniCamp because of the kids. They deserve the time and attention. One thing UniCamp taught me is to challenge myself. It made me a stronger person and gave me the opportunity to connect with nature, form genuine friendships with anyone doesn’t matter what age, and helped me find who I really am.
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
