A Message From Nina Christie (Bon-Bon)

Hello :) Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! I am a volunteer with UCLA UniCamp, and this year I will be working with high school students. I am passionate about education, and I believe that all students who want to attend college should have that opportunity. Sending students to camp for a week is expensive, and many families in LA cannot afford to send their children to camp. That's where you come in. My goal is to fundraise $480 dollars to subsidize the cost of a week of summer camp. While we are up the mountain, I will be working with high schoolers in a week filled with college readiness and preparedness programming. I am excited to use my passion for equal opportunity in education to help these kids gain the skills and self-confidence that will help them to succeed in college. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
