A team fundraising campaign for UCLA UniCamp

A Message From Danielle Herrera

This campaign will help me send low-income students to a life-changing, dream-building, inspiring and educational week of camp. Without this campaign, these same students would be unable to participate with such an amazing opportunity, decreasing their likelihood of following their goals and preventing experiences that get them closer to one day, attending UCLA. Today, I am a Junior at the beautiful University of California, Los Angeles, but identify strongly with my underrepresented, low-income, first-generation roots. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be here, and can only hope to strengthen the chances of another student like me experiencing such an incredible learning environment.

In Support of UCLA UniCamp

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
