A Message From Hannah Chew

Hello friends and family! I am part of an organization called UniCamp at UCLA, and our mission is to provide a fun week of camp at Camp River Glen (near Big Bear) for underserved youth in the Los Angeles area. More specifically, I will be a counselor for one week during the AcademiCamp, which is a session geared towards instilling the love of learning and education. I am extremely thankful, and lucky, to have access to quality education, but I realize that many youth in our area do not have the same opportunity. I am beyond excited to be a volunteer for this amazing organization, but I do need your help in fundraising $500, the price to send one camper to AcademiCamp! Thank you for helping me support this cause :)

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
