A Message From AcademiCamp

Students at or below the poverty level continue to fall behind at the end of each school year. Daily struggles for basic needs such as healthy, nutritious foods and a safe environment means that continuing their education over the summer break becomes nearly impossible. UCLA UniCamp's AcademiCamp aims to bridge the gap caused by summer learning loss. In partnership with the UCLA Community School and the Summer Learning Institute, we will provide summer school classes and one-on-one mentorship, culminating in a resident summer camp experience to give students the opportunity to enrich themselves year-round.

In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
