A Message From Larny Lopez
I have previously tutored middle school students and it was one of the most rewarding experiences I had with volunteering. Helping kids learn brings me joy because I know that my time spent with them can create a lasting impact. Hearing them call me Mr. Larny when they needed help always put a smile on my face. Joining Academic Camp for Unicamp, I will be able to continue this experience and share my love for education with kids. With your help in fundraising, a kid from an underserved community in LA would have the chance to go to a summer camp where they can have a learning experience outside of school, and at the same time, they can have a special experience that they will never forget.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
