A Message From Stardust Woodsey
This summer, I’ll be volunteering with UniCamp for the first time in their Childhood Grief Support session, UniZone. This camp will provide a loving and supportive community for those who have experienced a loss so that they can grieve and heal alongside those who are going through a similar experience. I’m truly excited to be part of a beautiful organization that puts children at their forefront. As counselors, we’ll be teaching the campers coping skills to use throughout their lives, but our focus will still be to put on a camp where the campers can simply enjoy being a kid. The camp is an independently funded organization that connects student volunteers with the underserved LA youth. We rely heavily on donations so any amount will be extremely helpful! Thank you for the support!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
