A Message From Sarah Yocute
UniCamp is an independently funded non-profit organization that gives students from low-income schools and communities the opportunity to enjoy a week of camp in the woods. I was a Unicamp camper twice in high school and it was one of the most life-changing experiences I have had. In just one week of camp, my peers and I gained so much confidence and many leadership skills that have stayed with us as most of us have entered college. To me, the most amazing part of Unicamp is its ability to give students, like myself, a rare opportunity at no cost. After my second year of attending Unicamp in high school, I knew that I wanted to attend UCLA someday and become a Unicamp camp counselor. This has all come to pass and now I am trying to send a student to this amazing week of summer camp. With your donation, these funds will allow one student to attend UCLA Unicamp. Thank you for your time!

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
