A Message From Shanda Nguyen

UniCamp, the official student charity of UCLA, is an organization that sends over one thousand Los Angeles youth to camp every summer, and one that I am very passionate about! This year, I will be an advisor for UniCorps, an Older Camp Program (OCP) that teaches leadership to youth in the Los Angeles area through community service. Creating memories and sharing experiences with these amazing young adults has molded my desire to give back to these diverse communities, and I can only hope that I have impacted them as much as they have impacted me. However, to make this camp experience possible for these Los Angeles youth, your help is needed! My fundraising goal is $1200, and it would mean so much to these campers if you helped by donating any amount, large or small. These tax-deductible donations are sincerely appreciated. On behalf of UniCamp, I hope that you all know that you are making an incredible difference to these children who we are here to serve, and who will serve our community in the future!

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
