Hi thank you for checking out my page! I have been granted the opportunity to volunteer for UniCamp once again, where I will be serving as a camp counselor for inner city kids for a week during the summer. I truly had an unforgettable, life changing experience last year. Not only did I learn so much from the other volunteers, but also I learned valuable lessons from the campers. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
