A Message From Julia (Banana) Lee
Hi, thank you for checking out my fundraising page! I'm so lucky to have the opportunity to participate in this wonderful organization again. Last year was my first year doing this camp and it was truly a wonderful and life-changing experience! I can honestly say joining UCLA Unicamp was one of the best decisions I've made since deciding to attend UCLA. I met so many incredible people in the span of five months last year and they have all left a significant impact on my life. However, the most surprising experience was being able to meet and bond with all the kids during my week up at camp. These children all come from underserved Los Angeles communities and yet they are some of the most inspiring people I have ever had the good fortune of meeting. All the money I raise goes towards giving these kids the chance to come up to camp, where they can be a kid without having to worry about what's going on at home. Typically, the registration fee for Unicamp is $580 for a child, but we raise enough money every year so that families only have to pay $99. I truly think this is a worthwhile cause and I would greatly appreciate it if you supported me by donating on my page. Any amount is appreciated and still a big help to me! Thank you!

In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
