A Message From Marilyn Kimbrough

UniCamp was founded in 1934 and has been changing lives ever since. This will be my third year as a UniCamp volunteer and I am beyond excited to see what the summer holds! This year I am taking on a larger role within the organization. Rather than being a Classic Camp counselor as I have been in the past, I am now a UniCorps Advisor. What this means is that I will be working with campers ages 15-17 and we will focus the week on service learning and leadership. I appreciate anything you can offer to help me reach my goal! The money raised by myself and my fellow volunteers is essential because it helps subsidize the cost of camp for our campers that would otherwise not be able to attend. After seeing the positive impact UniCamp has on each camper and volunteer, I can assure you that your donation will make a difference not only in the campers' lives, but in my own as well. Thank you!!

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
