A Message From Alexander Garcia
My name is Alexander Garcia, and at UniCamp I go by “Rex.” UniCamp gives kids from underfunded communities the chance to experience the wilderness, many for the very first time. Not every child has access to nature, mentorship, or a safe space to grow, and that’s why we do this work. At camp, they build confidence, make friendships, and learn that they are capable of more than they think. Your support helps make sure money is never the reason a child misses out on this life changing experience.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
