A Message From Alice Chiang
Dear supporters,
A very sincere THANK YOU for helping me reach my goal. It’s almost been a month since our week of camp ended. I’ve been meaning to tell you all about it!
This year, UniCamp celebrated its 90th anniversary! Despite relocating to a new campground, many traditions continue to take place such as a fashion show, trivia night, talent show, hiking, polar plunge, and MORP ('prom' backwards!). We sang lots of camp songs together, performed skits, took cute polaroids, and made a bunch of Woodsey bling (yarn necklaces). Oh and did I mention I got Woodsey married?!
I was a camp specialist at the alpine tower, which is a climbing obstacle course. My alpine partner and I had the pleasure of working with most of the camp units. We belayed and cheered the climbers on. We were so proud of everyone who took a shot outside of their comfort zone! We spent a good amount of daytime at the tower, but we also found time to bond with our own camp units. My campers really enjoyed swimming together, belting disney songs at the dishpit, and DIY-ing our handkerchiefs. We have this running joke to always save Twig (me) two cartons of chocolate milk (I love them!).
To have had all the sweet memories and friendships that formed, it all goes back to you, in taking the time to donate and believing in me!
Much Woodsey Love,
Alice “Twig” Chiang
