A Message From French Toast
Hello, I'm French Toast -- but you might already know that unless a friend of yours shared this page with you. As a child my family didn't have too much - economic wise - but my mamá always tried her best to give her four children something and that was a week of camp during the summer. Thankfully there were scholarships that she was able to apply for being a low income family and all, but where did these scholarships come from? As a volunteer for UniCamp, I am the scholarship by fundraising $550+ to complete the total cost of sending one child up to camp. YOU ARE THE SCHOLARSHIP -- if you donate to this cause. I'm very passionate about UniCamp as it gives me the opportunity to give to children who are like me (but much younger!). The love is so big that this will be my fourth year serving as a volunteer and, even better, I will be part of LSHIP (leadership) which is a group of volunteers who lead hundreds of volunteers by training them through weekly 2 hour meetings and guiding and mentoring them to create an amazing week of camp for a diverse group of campers. Help me on this incredible journey as I am extremely excited to lead volunteers by example and pass on my love and dedication for this non-profit organization.
Much woodsey love, French Toast
