UCLA UniCamp is an organization that has made a huge impact on me during my time at UCLA. I have made some of my best memories, and met some of the most incredible individuals - counselors who are passionate about working with LA youth from neighboring communities, and wonderful, resilient and brilliant campers - both up and down the mountain. This year I am excited to volunteer as a UniCorps advisor, working with older campers to explore the joy and value in service learning, team building, leadership, and the pursuit of higher education. My goal is to raise $1000 In order to subsidize costs and help send our campers - who are from historically underserved inner-city LA communities. - to a week of fun and memorable summer camp up in the mountains. Any amount you are able or willing to donate helps, and it would mean the world to me if you would pass this fundraiser on to anyone you know who may be willing to donate.
