A Message From Stephanie Du
Hi everyone!
I joined UniCamp at UCLA last year, an organization that serves underserved youth in LA and takes them to the San Bernardino Mountains to experience a week of summer camp. Campers get to explore the outdoors, try new activities, challenge themselves, and learn leadership skills. UniCamp has been such a core part of my time at UCLA that has pushed me to grow enormously and helped me find a supportive community.
This year, I am part of the Core Lessons in Mind and Body (CLIMB) program that takes kids ages 15-17 rock climbing in Holcomb Valley. I am fundraising to cover the cost of kids’ expenses to alleviate the financial burden on their families and give them the chance to experience the magic of UniCamp! All donations made to my GivEffect link are tax-deductible, or you can Venmo @stephanie_du.
I appreciate anything you would be able to contribute!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
