A Message From Pink Daisy Woodsey
Going camping is an adventure where we ourselves get to explore the world around us! Experiencing the beauty of nature is one of life’s greatest experiences, yet numerous children across the greater Los Angeles area are unable to go camping due to a financial barrier. Join UCLA UniCamp as we ensure hundreds of children can go camping at no cost to them. We as an organization prioritize providing those children voices and empowering them to reach for the stars. We kindly ask you to assist us in making the dreams of many children a reality as our goal is to establish $450 so that we can provide a wonderful group of children a memorable camping experience!
Numerous UCLA community members are currently and will continue to put numerous hours into planning and executing a fun and exciting camp experience for all. UCLA UniCamp is determined to inspire children to have a growth mindset and become community leaders, all while providing them a space to reach their greatest potential. Children are deserving of so much and if we are able to help them create wonderful summer memories that will last a lifetime, then we will honorably do what we can. During UCLA UniCamp, all campers will have the chance to make friends, participate in daily outdoor activities, and expand their knowledge on various topics! As UCLA staff, students, and community members, we will wholeheartedly make every single camper feel safe, welcomed, and special. Thank you in advance for your kind and joyous contributions!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
