Hi everyone! This summer I joined an amazing team of volunteers and became a camp counselor for underrepresented youth. UCLA UniCamp partners with local nonprofits and after school programs to give children an opportunity to experience a summer of fun at camp! Some of these kids represent minorities and foster youth—additionally some have never been to camp. Though the costs are subsidized for camp there is still a portion of the fee left to be covered— that is why we volunteers take it upon ourselves to find amazing people like you, who are willing to donate. Any donation regardless of the amount will be impactful to these amazing kids who need a very much needed break from the difficulties of everyday life. Your donation will help a parent not have to worry about any costs towards camp and gives the child an opportunity of a lifetime to build long lasting friendships, memories and connections to people who are invested in them and their success as individuals. 🌲 Much Woodsey Love 🌲
