A Message From Kimberly Dagdag

Hi everyone! My name is Kimberly "Kurly Fry" Dagdag and I am so excited to be a camp counselor for my first ever Unicamp Summer Session! I grew up and transferred from the Imperial Valley, a small neighboring town north of the Mexican border. With the lack of leadership opportunities for younger students, it drove me to give back to underserved communities by volunteering for Unicamp's 2020 After School Program. Joining Unicamp's family as a transfer student has been life-changing and I could not imagine a better organization to be a part of my undergraduate experience. My goal is to raise $450 to help these kids get the best camp experience everrrr! I would appreciate a donation of any amount you feel comfortable giving. And if you do not have the resources to donate at this time, I completely understand! I would be just as grateful if you took the time to pass along my donation page to help out our future campers! UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
