A Message From Belinda Davenport

Hello Everyone, My name is Belinda Davenport and I was given an amazing opportunity to be a volunteer with Village Nation's 2021 UniCamp with UCLA. UniCamp aims to provide a safe space for the youth to not only find peace outside of their busy day-to-day life, but also help them identify their true internal potential as they push themselves outside of their comfort-zone. However, Village Nation partnering with UniCamp aims to assist Black youth find unity amongst other Black youth as well as, find acceptance within and identify their power as a young Black individual. With your support and donations you will be helping ensure the youth and the leaders of tomorrow have a prosperous and proactive summer.

In Support of UCLA UniCamp

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
