A Message From Teresa Moreno-Gomez

Hello, my name is Teresa Moreno-Gomez and I am currently a freshman at UCLA. This will be my first year participating in UniCamp, an non-profit organization that serves to help minority children from the cities of LA. As a UniCamp Counselor, I will be caring after children during a week of camp where children have the opportunity to be who they want to be. Since these children come from low income communities, we fundraise money to help pay for the cost of sending kids to camp. I am currently trying to fundraise $450 to not only help cover my costs for camp, but to also help cover the costs of sending more kids to camp. Any amount of money would greatly be appreciated and counts towards helping the kids.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
