A Message From Raul Garcia
This campaign holds a deer connection to my heart. It is an opportunity to give back to the community and to the ones that are in the shoes I once filled. This campaign has the power to reward the opportunity to teach underserved youth that they can reach their full potential, that they can reach beyond the imaginable and that they can succeed with a little help from the rest of us. I am a current UCLA student working on a Sociology Bachelor of Arts and aspiring Law School student that was once young, and needed guidance and unfortunately did not have. It took me ten years after high school to return to college. Let it not be another child fall through the cracks because many are not so lucky to rise. It is my duty to make connections with the underprivileged youth and serve as a link to higher education and continue an affirmative act of sharing knowledge and time.
