A Message From Jessica Yorn

UCLA Unicamp is an AMAZING organization that brings underserved youth to a summer camp session that allows them to discover their true selves! From here, we can mentor them and help them achieve greatness not only in their career aspects but also in society. I am originally from Oakland, CA; a place notoriously known for having underserved youth. I was fortunate enough to have a program that helped out youth like me and mentors and parents that pushed me to do great. My own experience has been almost magical and such an eye-opener. Kids should be able to have these types of resources available to them, hence why I am fundraising for this! If you donate at least $10, you'll receive a thank you message from me. The highest donator will receive a hand-knitted scarf made by me!

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
