A Message From Pudding Woodsey
UCLA UniCamp is a nonprofit organization that has been around for many years and has impacted the lives of adolescents. I for one, was one of those adolescents and UCLA UniCamp has helped since I was 10 years old. This specific session that I'm volunteering for connects to me personally, because its deals with children who have lost a loved one. I lost my sister and I know places like these make it a safe space for people to grieve in a healthy environment. As a volunteer I'm required to fundraise $450 to sponsor a child to go to camp at an inexpensive price. Any amount helps and helps give a child a safe space to grieve and process the loss of a loved one. Thank you!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
