A Message From Jazz

Hi there! Thank you for stumbling across my page! :') My name is Jazz, and this will be my second year of UniCamp! It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me with my fundraising goal of $480. But wait, why am I fundraising to volunteer for a week at a camp somewhere in the San Bernardino mountains? Why am I depriving myself of a shower for those seven days!? As you know, it takes money ($$$$ -- like, 4 stars on Yelp) to allow campers to have this summer camp experience. Housing, food, activities, etc. also means "$$$$." Since our target community is the underserved Greater Los Angeles area, we volunteers hope to subsidize the "$$$$" that the campers need to attend UniCamp. For most, the required amount isn't just subsidized, but entirely paid for! Therefore, by helping me with my fundraising goal, you'll be giving a student his/her coveted summer camp experience!

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
