A Message From LSHIP 24-25
UCLA UniCamp challenges student volunteers to deliver unique outdoor experiences for children from urban communities that foster personal growth, build relationships, and teach leadership. This allows both student volunteers and campers to learn that they can reach their full potential, often beyond what they thought possible, and to make a positive impact in their community.
CPD Mission Statement:
UCLA UniCamp is an ecosystem; everyone has a role and assets that enhance the overall experience for all members. Individual roles collectively unite to create an empowering and inspiring environment where everyone can try everything. By intentionally structuring programs, we hope campers and volunteers conclude their week having learned, progressed, and grown. We aim to create an inclusive, supportive, and diverse learning environment for all volunteers, campers, and anyone who interacts with camp!
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
