A Message From Esther Martinez

Established in 1934, UniCamp’s mission has been to serve underprivileged youth in Los Angeles by taking them to camp for a week. I am fortunate enough to participate in session HNF (Health, Nutrition and Fitness) in order to educate and empower children through proper exercising, proper eating habits and most importantly, addressing the issue of body image. Not only does this program hope to achieve these goals, we also aim to establish long-lasting relationships between the children themselves and fellow UCLA students. As a first-year transfer student at UCLA, I am grateful to those who have given me the necessary resources in order to reach my goals and I hope to do the same with these campers. It would be amazing if you would be able to donate in order to make this program possible! Anything helps, and please don’t hesitate to spread the word! Thank you so much and much woodsey love!

In Support of UCLA UniCamp

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
