A Message From Ellyquent Chen
Hi everyone!
Did you know that only 3% of foster youth obtains a B.A./B.S. degree? Growing up, I did not have to worry about retrieving my daily bread, but unfortunately this is not the case for everyone. Because of that, I have recently become a camp counselor at UCLA UniCamp, which is UCLA official charity that was established in 1934. They give children from low income families an opportunity to go to camp for a week, freeing them from their everyday stress by having them come to camp. Generally, the price of sending these kids to camp is not cheap. Hence, each (new) member strives to raise $200 in order to have the children come to camp for free or at a reduced cost.
With that all being said, would you like to donate some money or any spare change?
Any contribution would truly be appreciated. :)
