A Message From Tia Brandt

What do I do outside of my 9 to 5? The answer is UniCamp, for kids who often do not have opportunities to match their overwhelming potential. This is my 5th year volunteering, my 2nd as Leadership and my 1st as Head Counselor. Friends & family have asked me, incredulously: "You're doing camp, again?!?" Yes, and happily. Long hours & sleepless nights are a small price to be a part of the beautiful phenomenon that is 50 UCLA student volunteers and 150 campers learning more about themselves and one another, growing as individuals and a community throughout the week of camp. But to make that happen at a very a low cost for the kids, your kind hearts and generosity are key. Please, donate! Thank you so much for supporting me, this organization I love, and ultimately, of course, the kids.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
