A Message From Lariska Theron

Hey everyone! This summer I will be participating in UCLA UniCamp from July 5-12th! This camp sends under-served youth from all over California to an education and inspiration-based summer camp. My week of camp will focus on the interaction of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) with art. As a woman in a hard science major at UCLA, I am really passionate about inspiring youth in STEM and I can't wait for a wonderful week up at camp! Each UCLA volunteer must fundraise $480 to pay for the cost of giving over 1,300 children this wonderful summer camp experience. I would *really* appreciate it if you could help me in my mission to empower, inspire, and educate these amazing kids heart emoticon Even a small donation will help me reach my goal.

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
