A Message From Toothless Woodsey

Hello family and friends!!! I am going by my camp name on here this year because of Woodsey traditions. If you see me in my contact photo you're on the right page! Four years ago, I signed up to be a summer camp counselor for UCLA UniCamp, not knowing that decision would alter the course of my college experience. I couldn't have known that I'd work with the strongest, most resilient, inspirational group of campers, or that I’d meet the most incredible group of volunteers who are passionate about helping others. This year, I'm a part of the Leadership team for the Outdoor Education Session, and with the help of my COZE Lil' Sebastian, Bubba, and Stone, we will be leading a session dedicated to introducing kids to environmental science. All the donations that you give will go towards sending low income campers up to UniCamp. At our camp, campers will participate in activities such as hiking, arts and crafts, archery, and learning numerous things about Environmental Science. UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
