A Message From Mona Farzan

Hello there! This is my first year in UniCamp and I joined to make a difference in campers' lives by getting them out of the city and into nature. My specific session, Health, Nutrition, and Fitness will give campers insight into a balanced lifestyle as well as address mental health in the face of today's societal pressures. Working with UniCamp will give me a chance to make connections with youth who usually do not have the opportunity or resources to have this experience. Working with underserved youth of Los Angeles is a passion of mine, and I think every kid deserves to have this amazing week of camp to have fun and connect with others to see that their future is bright. (P.S.- all donations are tax deductible!!!)

UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
