A Message From Nicholas Guzman
Hello!!! This is my donation page for UCLA Unicamp.
What is Unicamp?
It is UCLA's oldest charity. It is a program that serves Los Angeles' low-income youth from underserved schools and communities in an effort to better themselves and inspire them to be open-minded, positive, and college bound students. At Unicamp we serve students from the ages of 10-18 and have them engage in outdoor programs as well as exposing them to specific social initiatives. In this case, my initiative is "Social Justice," where we teach campers to express themselves and rise above the difficulties of growing up such as: Racism, Sexism, Homophobia and growing up LGBTQ, Mental and Physical disabilities, Immigrant rights and struggles, as well as Indigenous rights and struggles. With your help Unicamp can send these children to camp to change their lives and empower them to proud and enlightened individuals!!!! MWL (Much Woodsey Love) ~ Mr. Darcy (my camp name)
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
