A Message From Catherine Santos
Hi! My name is Catherine "Bdubs" Santos and I'm here to fundraise $450 for a very important organization that is near and dear to my heart. I'm raising this money for UNICAMP, an amazing organization that is based in UCLA that provides a camping experience for underserved kids within the greater community! The session I'm working for this summer is called Outdoor Education, which will be providing the kids with tools that will allow them to discover the great challenges that we face within the realm of Environmental Science in hopes that it will ignite their interest in the STEM field and for future generations of Environmental innovators! UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
