A Message From Kristen Danhour
I am volunteering for UCLA Unicamp (This is UCLA’s Official Student Charity) for the 6th year! This year, I am the Program Director for the WALL Program. WALL stands for Wilderness Adventures in Leadership and Learning. I am in charge of 23 UCLA Volunteers who will be leading groups of high school campers on a 4 day, 26 mile backpacking hike to the top of San Gorgonio. Each year, the campers and volunteers learn so much about teamwork and leadership. Personally, camp has given me more than I could ever imagine, and each year our campers have an amazing time up at camp and are able to take away a large range of skills. In order to help send these campers up to camp, I have committed to fundraising $2,000. This might seem like a bunch of money but trust me camp is worth it! If you are able to, I would really appreciate if you could help me reach my goal with a donation.
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
