A Message From Sunny
Hello friends and family! This year, I have the AMAZING privilege of once again participating with UCLA UNICAMP, but now as a part of the Leadership team! Unicamp is UCLA's official charity and provides a week of camp to underprivileged children at a much reduced cost that normal camps would charge.
Through my experience with UNICAMP in my previous years, I have learned so much about myself and my limits, and in turn, was able to grow as an individual. My peers who also volunteered with me are so inspirational and are some of the most down-to-earth people that I have met here at UCLA. They are kind, compassionate, and most of all, dedicated to making a difference. This is why I chose to come back to Unicamp, because of the "Woodsey Magic."
This year, I will help lead a week of AcademiCamp which is intended to improve learning retention rates and enhance student literacy. Our campers will have the opportunity to develop genuine love for reading and writing through a week filled with fun activities and a great support system. Help me make this week one that they will never forget!

In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
