A Message From Sagar "Crazy Legs" Patel
LET CRAZY LEGS DANCE UP A MOUNTAIN!
As some of you may already know, I am volunteering as a CLIMB Advisor in one of UniCamp's Older Camper Programs (Ages: 15-17). We focus on leadership and responsibility, as well as outcome-based programming to encourage campers to return to their communities as leaders and role models. In particular, we teach many of the tenets of climbing and many related activities, such as slacklining, belaying, anchors, and rappelling. The campers get a chance to literally take their own lives into their own hands in order to really develop confidence, leadership, and most importantly self-awareness.

In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
