A Message From Ariana Verastegui
What made me join UCLA Unicamp is their ambition to take these kids on an adventure. Camp isn't just about having fun, but for these kids to discover themselves, find new skills, and create meaningful bonds with other campers. These connections go a long way because some kids end up coming back, and the volunteers get to watch them change from their attitudes, ways of thinking, to their own person. These kids get the chance to dream bigger with camp, to provide them with the tools for their success. Camp allows many of these kids to develop as a person with the right guide and to be independent with our care.
A small donation can go a long way, and it is always appreciated to make these kids' dreams come true.
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
