The Fundraising Page of Natalia "Zoomy" Osorio

Hi everyone! My name is Natalia "Zoomy" Osorio, and this is my third year volunteering with UCLA UniCamp. Joining UniCamp has been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve made during my college journey so far! Through weekly trainings where we prepare to become camp counselors, I’ve had the opportunity to grow my leadership skills alongside some of my dearest friends. I am so grateful to be a part of an organization where I can give back to the greater LA community and broaden my horizons. This year, I will be serving as a Classic Camp Head Counselor, where I have the opportunity to lead and mentor volunteers through weekly trainings in preparation for camp, as well as guide them throughout their counselor experience during the week of summer camp. Alongside supporting our counselors, I’m excited to help create a meaningful camp experience filled with activities like arts and crafts, archery, and biking—while fostering an environment where campers can grow independently, discover their strengths, and have fun in the mountains. For this upcoming camp season, I am fundraising $450 to help send underserved youth from the greater LA area to a week of outdoor summer camp at little to no cost.
