A Message From Kelly "Periwinkle" Burdick

Hi friends and family! As I enter my last year at UCLA and reflect on my time here, I can wholeheartedly say that UniCamp has been the most transformative experience of my academic career. With that being said, I am so excited to share that I am taking on the role of Session Program Director (SPD) for the UCLA Community School Session! I am thrilled to work with this population for the third year in a row-- these campers are so special to me, and I can't wait to see them again up the mountain! UniCamp would not be possible without the generous donations from loves ones. My goal this year is $550, and I would be incredibly grateful for any help you can offer! UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
