I am going on to 4 years with UniCamp and this year I decided to step into the role of session program director. Last year as a head counselor, I was able to see a different side of UniCamp and shift a lot of my focus to the volunteers. It was such an amazing opportunity, I absolutely loved working with my coze to bring Camp Finding N.E.M.O (New Experiences, More Opportunities) to life. We really wanted our volunteers to be able to find a community in our session and feel comfortable in growing as leaders. The growth that I was able to see in our volunteers was so beautiful, every training was a step forward. I loved getting to know all the kids and be there to support the volunteers during the week of camp. As a session program director this year, I cannot wait to bring my own session to life and grow with a new group of volunteers. UniCamp was been one of the best decisions I've made in my life, donating to this organization is a huge help for me and it supports volunteers and kids alike. Some of these kids go through so much and have never been in the mountains, so giving them this opportunity is so much! Thank you so much for your support always!
