A Message From Dylan Ballard
For around 4 years of my most formative years, middle and high school, I was characterized as largely unapproachable and introverted. Personally leaning more on the shy side of the personality spectrum, I was particularly adverse to new experiences. Overnight (literally and metaphorically), the stage flipped entirely for me through UniCamp, fostering connections first with counselors and more broadly with my peers. To keep this tradition of turning introversion, which there is nothing wrong with, into engagement in the community, please donate to this fundraiser.
In Support of UCLA UniCamp
UCLA UniCamp is the official student charity of the University of California, Los Angeles. UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from underserved families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 400 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.
